About Corinne Duluk

The Susan G. Komen Detroit Race for the Cure has been a cornerstone event since the 1990s, dedicated to funding breast cancer research and providing critical support services to individuals affected by the disease. This cause holds deep personal significance for us. Since 2005, I spearheaded sponsorship initiatives and team participation efforts for every organization I've been a part of, including the Michigan Association of CPAs, Karmanos Cancer Institute, and Delphinus Medical Technologies. Recognizing my unwavering commitment to the organization’s mission, the Executive Director of the Susan G. Komen Detroit Race invited me to Chair the Planning Committee in 2021.

For three years, I've volunteered with Winning Futures, a nonprofit based in Metro Detroit, dedicated to empowering high school students through structured mentoring programs. Each year, I guided a group of students, providing valuable insights on career exploration, the importance of continuing education, and strategic planning for life after graduation. My commitment to mentoring and student success was recognized with two prestigious honors: Mentor of the Year and the Spirit of Detroit Award, both of which highlight my dedication to making a lasting impact on the lives of young people in Metro Detroit.

While working at Karmanos Cancer Institute, I leveraged my relationships with physicians to engage with two prominent organizations dedicated to cancer research and communication. I was invited to join the Communications Sub-committee of the Michigan Cancer Consortium, where I played a key role in redesigning the organization's website and enhancing member communications. Additionally, I collaborated closely with academic physicians in the immunotherapy research program, leading to my appointment as the web manager for the Translational Research Cancer Centers Consortium (TRCCC). This non-profit organization unites researchers committed to advancing cancer treatments and patient care through immunotherapy. In this role, I managed the organization’s digital presence and contributed to planning and executing the TRCCC annual meeting, ensuring seamless coordination and impactful engagement among key stakeholders.

The Royal Oak Women's Club was established in 1902 and is dedicated to improving the lives of Royal Oak residents through fundraising and volunteering. The Club boasts a membership of 70 empowered women who work with community organizations to support local individuals without a home, students, first responders, and various other nonprofits. As a member of the Royal Oak Women's Club, I've formed strong friendships, improved my leadership and relationship-building skills, and developed a deeper connection with individuals in my community, gaining a better understanding of their daily struggles.
